As the littlest wee spends more time awake and alert, the usual pace around here has slowed down while I spend time with her, reading and singing and all that razzmatazz. I do get some sewing in here and there but not enough. I haven’t touched my machine in a week, and I miss it. I was able to sash my granny square top, though, and I love it!

That top now joins these two in a pile of basted tops waiting to be quilted:

Meanwhile, I have two more blocks to go to finish the gather here sampler and piece that top up:

I think June is going to be my month of quilting. In addition to all these wips, I am signing up for a free motion quilting class because I am obsessed with it right now. I can’t wait!!! Now, to get sewing….
