ziggin’ and a’zaggin’ (ziggasayah?)

chevron quilt top
Today is the first installment of my two-part chevron baby quilt class at gather here. I’m so looking forward to it! It’s awesome how much I’m enjoying drawing out diagrams and plotting quilts out on paper. Usually, I just get and idea and run with it. My approach is very hands-on and leaning toward improv. I rarely ever sketch things out when working on my own quilts, so it’s nice to dissect how a quilt is made and think about the process more. It’s also making me want to go further with the process, take it places I haven’t been to yet. In short, it’s exciting and inspiring me like crazy.
